Do you have to bring your own snorkel gear or can you rent it there? I see the vest is included but mask, etc? Thank you!

Ahoy, Teresa! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for cruising in with your question.

Disney Cruise Line has some really amazing activities both onboard the ship and on the stunning private island, Castaway Cay. And you won't have to worry about finding room in your suitcase for any of the snorkeling equipment. That sounds like you'll have more room for the important stuff - like the souvenirs you'll want to bring home.

There are two locations you can visit on Castaway Cay if your plan for the day includes snorkeling. Both Gil's Fins and Boats and Flippers and Floats rent everything you need for snorkeling. You can grab your mask, snorkel, vest, and fins at these locations, so you'll be all set for an underwater adventure. The snorkeling lagoon is 22 acres of underwater surprises, so keep your eyes peeled while you're on the trail so you don't miss a thing.

Teresa, if you're thinking of booking an appointment for the spa or salon, Castaway Cay day is a great day to do it. I like to spend a full day at the beach, then late in the afternoon, I slip back onboard and head right to an appointment for a massage or facial before I get ready for dinner. It's a great way to end a beach day.

With just days to go before you sail, I hope this helps you get those last-minute concerns out of the way. Have an absolutely magical voyage, Teresa!
