Welcome to planDisney, Darren! We are glad you brought your question to us today.
You'll be happy to know that
Guests are permitted to bring their own snacks and beverages into the theme parks. I recommend reviewing the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules for a list of prohibited items. Note that glass containers (other than small baby food jars) and alcohol are not permitted.
Often I'll bring a coffee with me in the morning, and a reusable insulated water bottle filled with ice water that I'll replenish throughout the day. It is important to stay hydrated in the Florida sun! Keep your eye out for
water bottle filling stations in the parks. Often they are located near the restrooms in a new or newly refurbished area. You are welcome to request a complimentary cup of ice or ice water at any quick service dining location. I'll also bring some portable snacks like protein bars in my bag.
If you'd like to pack a small cooler, know that
lockers are available in all theme parks and water parks. Just check the dimensions of your cooler to make sure it is within the allowable bag size of 24" long by 15" wide by 18" high and that it will fit in a locker (locker dimensions are in the link above). Also please be aware that
loose ice is not allowed. Reusable ice packs or small zip-top bags of ice are recommended.
Darren, I hope you have found this information helpful! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Enjoy your visit!
