Can I bring my own coffee pot to the little Mermaid room?

    Heigh-Ho April,

Coffee First, taking on Walt Disney World next. Yup, that’s how I MUST start my magical day. And while Walt Disney World does not permit Guests to bring their own coffee maker, due to safety precautions, the Little Mermaid Standard Room at Disney's Art of Animation Resort has a small but convenient barista station.  Here you can depend on your java intake with a Cuisinart dual-sided single-serve coffee machine as well as Joffrey’s caffeinated and decaffeinated soft coffee pods and a supply of creamers and sugars and artificial sweeteners. And if your supply runs low give Mousekeeping a call and they will happily accommodate your request. In fact, as soon as I arrive, and because I know I will always require more, I kindly put my request in for more coffee supplies.

While I know this may not be the answer you would like I hope it will help prepare you for a new java adventure. As a side note from one coffee drinker to another, my special strong brew consists of using two pods on one side for one cup of coffee. It’s quite delish and gets the java job done. Stay up to date with any changes or exciting news by following the Disney Parks Blog and may your upcoming stay be filled with many magical and memorable, caffeinated moments.

    Have a Practically Perfect Day,

    Amy M.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
