Can I bring my luggage on the Skyliner?

    Lesley,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

Technically, yes, you can take some luggage on the Disney Skyliner. Obviously, the amount and size of luggage you may have with you could cause an issue, if it gets to be a lot. But certainly, a moderately sized suitcase would not be out of the question.

    DOUG TIP
If you are moving your luggage because you are changing hotels, a more convenient solution is to let the Bell Services desk of your Disney Resort Hotel move your bags for you. The Disney Resort Hotels will transfer your bags from one hotel to the other, while you enjoy another day in the parks! All you need to do is drop your bags off by 11 a.m. at the Bell Services desk of your first hotel, and indicate what other hotel is your new home in the magic. They will take care of it for you from there! The Walt Disney World Dolphin and Swan would be included in that list of resorts where you can have the bags transferred for you!

    BONUS TIP #1
Rolling bags will be far easier to deal with since the Skyliner cars are walk-on/roll-on friendly. Try to select bags like that to make your trip easier.

    BONUS TIP #2
The Disney Skyliner cars are configured for a maximum of 10 people, so that might give you an idea of the space available.

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
