Season's Greetings, Brenda!
Welcome back to planDisney! I am happy you've returned with another question! Visiting Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season is the merriest time of the year to go, and with that, making sure your packing essentials are ready to go is important! According to the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules page, loose ice (including dry ice) is not allowed in the parks. Pack several re-useable ice packs to use in your cooler instead. Along with loose ice, glass containers are also not permitted.
The holiday season at Walt Disney World is full of events, activities, and delicious foods that will make your visit extra jolly! Check out the
2024 Foodie Guide by Disney Eats, which highlights the specialty menu items you can find throughout the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. I am excited to try the Mini Christmas Croquembouche from Amorette's Patisserie in a few weeks and the Coquito Wreath Cupcake from Rosie's All-American Café! Visit select Disney Resort Hotels to see their magical Gingerbread Displays (and purchase some goodies, too!). Finally, the Christmas Tree Stroll at
Disney Springs is another fun family activity to enjoy during your visit.
Brenda, I hope you and your family have a wonderful visit! Thank you for stopping by planDisney!
Happy Holidays!
Frances
