Welcome to the
Disney Parks Moms Panel! How great to hear that you will be visiting
Walt Disney World when all of the Christmas decorations are up; you will love the atmosphere!
Guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks to enjoy at the parks, except for alcoholic beverages. I always bring a couple of snacks for myself and my kids as well as water or soda. It is important to note that coolers with or without wheels larger than 24" x 15" wide x 18" high are not allowed in any theme park or water park. Also, keep in my mind that loose or dry ice is not permitted in these containers or in any bag. If you would like to keep your drinks or food cold, you may bring reusable ice-packs or get a cup of ice at no charge at any Food & Beverage location. Recently, new rules went into effect in order to improve guest flow and make everyone's experience at the parks more enjoyable. You can read the updated list of rules to be observed while at the Walt Disney World Resort
here.
I always like to bring cereal bars, nuts, and other easy-to-pack snacks. If you would prefer to bring something that feels more like "lunch" you might want to consider a tuna, chicken or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Apples, bananas, and muffins are also good choices for snacks.
Remember, though, to make room for classic snacks such as a DOLE Whip® cup, a DOLE Whip® Pineapple Float, a Mickey bar, a Mickey Pretzel or a churro! Your trip will not be complete without at least one of these (or ALL of them).
I hope this information is helpful, Melissa, and please come back with more questions as the time for your vacations approaches. We love to help out!
Wishing you the best trip ever!
