Can I bring my hair straightener?

    Welcome aboard, Evangeline!

It's important to feel your best when you're on vacation while still having down time, isn't it? For me, part of that is throwing my hair into a ponytail and heading to the pool or relaxing and enjoying everything included in my Disney Cruise Line vacation. But, at night, when it's time to head to dinner and out to the evening activities with my husband, I do want to look my best. I couldn't do that without my flat iron! It sounds like you're the same way!

I'm happy to let you know that yes, you're welcome to bring your flat iron onboard so you can do your hair. In my stateroom, I find that the best place to plug it in is on the desk vanity area. With the stool and mirror there, it's the perfect place to finish up my hair while the rest of my family is using the shower or other side of the split bathrooms to get ready.

It's great that you asked this question, Evangeline, because there are certain items that are prohibited onboard, like bringing your own clothing iron. The good news there is that there are laundry facilities for guest use onboard the ship so that's where I head with my clothes to press them before I wear them.

Have fun planning this adventure, Evangeline. Please stop back with more questions about your cruise plans before you set sail this spring. We're happy to help and give any tips you might need!
