Hi Lori Ann, and please allow me to welcome you to planDisney! Thanks for thinking of us as you plan your next Disneyland Resort vacation.
It sounds like you are just a few days away from visiting the 'Happiest Place on Earth!' I'm so excited for you to experience all the thrills of the
Disney100 Celebration which will be honoring the centennial anniversary of the Walt Disney Company throughout 2023. It's quite the party!
I had not heard of a Gooseneck phone holder before but I looked it up and, what a cool product! I can see how it would be helpful to capture some special photos of the iconic sights around the Disneyland Resort theme parks. According to the
list of items permitted in the theme parks, folding tripod or monopod stands are allowable, provided they fit in a standard-size backpack and do not extend beyond 6 feet in length. I would also encourage you to ensure that its use is stationary and it is not affixed to any theme park property. Your phone holder may not be used as a hand-held selfie stick, which is a prohibited item in the theme parks. For easy reference, here is a
list of the park rules and regulations, but ultimately, the security team has the final word on what may or may not be allowed in the parks.
My friend and fellow panelist Andres is an accomplished photographer and he has some great
tips about using photography-related equipment. I hope this is helpful, Lori Ann, and if you have any other questions about how to make some unforgettable memories during your next Disneyland Resort visit, please come back and visit us again here at
planDisney!
Wishing you
Wondrous Journeys,
