Hello I want to bring my four year old and six year old in May. I'm wondering what are the best options. Should I get the park hopper or is there so much to do in the Magic kingdom that I really don't need it my first trip?

    Nicollette,

How thrilling that you are planning your first trip to Walt Disney World with your little ones. The ages of four and six are wonderful for visiting the most magical place one earth. There are many options for park tickets for your upcoming visit and choosing which one is best for you depends on how many days you will visit, if you are staying at at Walt Disney World resort and your personal preference.

Personally, I love the Park Hopper option because it allows you to visit multiple parks in one day. With little ones, you may want to visit one park in the morning, go back to the resort for a nap mid-day, and then go back to a park at night. If you have the Park Hopper option and are staying on site, you can take advantage of Extra Magic Hours (EMH) at the park with early EMH in the morning and then get the most of your day by visiting the park with night EMH that evening.

However, if it is your first trip and you want to take it easy with your little ones, you can always skip the Park Hopper option and your can still visit each of the four Walt Disney World parks (WDW), one each day. Kids love all four of the WDW parks because they each offer something different.

No matter what you choose, I know you'll have a great vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
