Can I bring food and frozen water bottles in a cooler to the parks?

Hi there, Mayra, and welcome to planDisney! It’s awesome that you’ve found your way to us today. I’m so excited for your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!

Mayra, you will be happy to know that there are few restrictions when it comes to bringing food into the Disney Theme Parks! While loose ice isn’t permitted, you’re welcome to freeze your water bottles and use them to help keep your other items cool. Please check out the Prohibited Items list for limitations on cooler size. I don’t recommend bringing anything too large, as you don’t want to have to carry anything too heavy throughout the day.

Did you know that you can get complimentary cups of water at many Quick-Service Restaurants? You can also refill your water bottles throughout the parks. You’ll even find convenient food carts where you can purchase popcorn, cold treats, and beverages.

When it comes to making sure your crew is well-fed and hydrated, I recommend going ahead and booking some Advance Dining Reservations at various table service restaurants. This will ensure you have a time and place set aside for relaxing and recharging so you can finish the day strong. For my family, this makes all the difference in the world during our vacation!

Mayra, I hope this is helpful to you as you continue to plan your vacation at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you may have as you count down to your arrival!

    See you real soon!
