Hello, Cassidy, and welcome to planDisney! I see you'll be arriving in Walt Disney World in just a few days. I know you must be excited!
Guests are allowed to
bring outside food and nonalcoholic beverage items into the theme parks as long as they are not in glass containers. Keeping water and a few snacks on hand is a tip I often share with family and friends who are planning a Disney vacation. Being able to have a snack and water when you're taking a break from the attractions and entertainment keeps everyone energized and hydrated.
Speaking of hydration, yes, there are water refill stations around the parks. When my family was visiting Walt Disney World last summer, we used the water refill station at
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. We were also able to get free cups of water from several
quick-service restaurants.
A few additional quick tips I like to share with Guests are:
- Download the My Disney Experience app. My wife and I use the app to update our plans, make dining reservations, and browse restaurant menus before we place a mobile food order at select locations.
- Make sure you plan some downtime between attractions to enjoy the magic found throughout the parks. Disney's attention to detail can make something as simple as eating Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bars while watching Dumbo fly in Fantasyland become a fun family tradition.
- Before you travel to Walt Disney World, read about the updated health and safety measures now in place.
Cassidy, please let us know if we can help you with any other questions before your visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
Have a magical day!
Bob
