What can we bring into the Disney parks? Snacks, refillable water bottles?

    Heigh-Ho Jeannie,

Whether you understand the importance of fueling, during a day in the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, or budgeting is your strategy, so you can experience more Disney Magic, Guests are allowed to bring in outside food and non-alcoholic beverages or refillable water bottles. Please note, glass containers are not permitted and there are no places to reheat or store food for Guests.

While I like to experience the food and beverages, at all of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, I also am an advocate of fueling your body. Guests take thousands of steps each day, around the Walt Disney World Resorts, and getting hangry comes easily and quickly. I like to pack quick snacks such as energy bars, dried fruit & nut snack packs as well as sandwich crackers to have on hand. I am, also, a huge water drinker and love the fact Walt Disney World provides free water to Guests at all their quick-service restaurants. Simply see a Cast Member, at the door of the restaurant, and they will point you in the direction of where to go. This is one way to fill your refillable container but another is to keep a lookout for the refillable water stations.  Below is a list of some of the stations I have used on my most recent visit as well as some I have researched for you:

    Magic Kingdom
Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe- inside (has been closed during COVID)

Epcot Experience (former Odyssey building)- by restrooms
Traveler’s Cafe- by restrooms (close to the entrance of World Showcase)
Disney Skyliner- by restroom (outside entrance/exit of Epcot @ International Gateway)

    Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Star Wars Galaxy Edge- by restrooms
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run- exit of the ride
Slinky Dog Dash- in the queue line
Disney Skyliner- by restroom (outside entrance/exit Disney’s Hollywood Studios)

    Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Avatar Flight of Passage- in the queue line
Na’vi River Journey- in the queue line
Expedition Everest- Legend of the Forbidden Mountain- in the queue line

I do hope this information has been helpful and thank you for visiting planDisney. If we can be of any further assistance feel free to ask and check our Instagram (@plandisneypanel) for more Disney Magic.

    Have a Practically Perfect Day,

    Amy M.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Virginia

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
