Bring DH,DD7,DS10 on 9/26-10/03 for the second time. I would like to think of something to do when we are there that we would do every time we go. Something we can look back on,almost a tradition like thing. Anyone have any suggestions? You guys ROCK!!!

Hi, Vanessa!  I think it's wonderful that you want to start a family tradition related to your Walt Disney World vacations!  I think most of the moms have some sort of tradition that they do whenever they go.

My family's tradition is Kaki Gori, a version of shaved ice that can be found at EPCOT.  On every visit, just after lunch on our EPCOT day, we pick up a couple of rainbow Kaki Gori treats, and find a shady spot to sit and relax.  Even on the warmest Florida day, we can usually find a spot that's not too hot, and we people watch and enjoy the frozen treat.

You might want to pick a restaurant, and always plan to have your first meal at Walt Disney World at "your" restaurant - or even your last.  I have a friend who books Kona Cafe at the Polynesian as her last breakfast, so she has one more plate of Tonga Toast to hold her over until her next trip.

Disney Mom Kay is our hat mom!  One of her family traditions is to wear a different hat on each visit.  Another of her family traditions, which she shares with us every time we all get together, is to place varying denominations of Disney Dollars in envelopes, and at each meal, everyone at the table gets to pick an envelope.  You may find one Disney Dollar or you may find 10, but it's a fun game, and a great way to give kids the surprise of a little extra spending money!

You could try to always do a round of golf, or perhaps add a different behind the scenes tour each trip.  Whatever you choose, I hope your children are excited to repeat the tradition for many years to come!
