Hello Shannon!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so glad you cruised by today! If you are like me, after all this snow and cold in the bold north of Minnesota, I am dreaming of a Disney Cruise Line vacation. I am so excited to hear you are also going to Walt Disney World along with your upcoming cruise. There is nothing like seeing Cinderella Castle to make you feel better after saying goodbye to Captain Mickey!
According to the
guidelines for carrying on your own food when sailing, nonperishable snack items are permitted onboard Disney Cruise Line ships as long as they are sealed in their original packaging. It is important if you plan to debark with these packets to take them with you to Walt Disney World that they remain unopened in your luggage.
Since time at Walt Disney World can be very valuable, I would recommend reviewing your Personal Navigator newsletter or
Disney Cruise Line's Navigator App when you board to find the times and locations of character meet and greets. I like to meet the characters onboard as the lines are much shorter on the ship than in the parks. I can then spend park time experiencing the rides, shows or special character meet and greets like
Ralph and Vanellope from Wreck-It-Ralph who are now greeting at Epcot! Be sure to check out the
Move It! Shake It! MousekeDance It! Street Party at Magic Kingdom for a unique celebration.
Enjoy making magical memories! Stay warm! Angie
