Can I bring a clip on high chair for my infant who isn’t an independent sitter in traditional high chairs offered at restaurants? Specifically table service: Cinderella’s Royal Table, Chef Mickeys and Hollywood & Vine.

    Hi Karen,

Welcome to planDisney! I see that you have excellent taste in dining reservations and are planning on bringing your little one along to enjoy all of the delicious food options at Disney World.

Portable high chairs are not on the list of prohibited items at Disney World. That being said, I rarely ever see them while dining at Disney World because carting them around all day is fairly inconvenient. If you can utilize the high chairs available at Disney World dining locations, I highly recommend them. They are always clean and my children have been using them since they were quite small without issue. If you feel like you will enjoy your dining experience more by bringing your portable chair along, I would make sure it fits into a bag that is smaller than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) since that is the largest bag you can bring into Disney World.

Make sure to have your camera ready at each of the character dining locations you mentioned and seat your baby with their back to the restaurant so the characters can easily pop up to your table and take photos with your baby! At Cinderella's Royal Table, check out the filet mignon, which is available for breakfast or dinner and is absolutely delicious. They also have a fabulous wine selection that is worth a look if you are interested.

While you are at Disney World, I also recommend taking advantage of the Baby Care Centers. All four Disney theme parks have Baby Care Centers that are stocked with anything and everything you may possibly need for your little one. These facilities are super clean and offer quiet spots to change, feed, and rest with your baby during the day.

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
