Ahoy there, Rhonda!
Welcome back to planDisney! We are so happy to hear from you again. Soon you'll be sailing into the sunset with Captains Mickey and Minnie. I know how much you are looking forward to
all Disney Cruise Line has to offer on your upcoming vacation.
Rhonda, when I set sail with Disney Cruise Line for the first time, I loved how easy it was to
cruise with a little one. They really do think of everything, which made packing a lot less stressful. Clip-on high chairs are not on the
prohibited item list, so you are welcome to bring one. That said, you can also request a high chair. This can be done via the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app under "Special Requests," then select "Child Amenities." You can also do this on the
Disney Cruise Line website under "Already Booked," then "My Reservation," and scroll down to "Special Requests." This is also the area you'll request a Pack 'n Play Crib for your stateroom. If you do decide to bring your own clip-on high chair, keep in mind that table widths vary across the dining venues.
If you have a crawling little one when you sail next month, there is an event designed especially for all those adorable non-walking babies onboard. Be on the lookout in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for Jack-Jack's Incredible Diaper Dash or Little Hero Dash on the Disney Destiny. This high-energy, always hilarious event is a must-see for my family on our sailings because we love watching all the crawling babies compete for the title of fastest baby. The track is about 20 feet long, and each contestant receives a small prize for entering. If you decide to enter your baby, arrive a few minutes early to get registered. If you want to attend as a spectator, I do suggest arriving 15-20 minutes early for a good viewing spot, as it typically draws a good crowd.
Thank you again for cruising back over, Rhonda. Your countdown is not long now, so be sure to let us know if you have any additional questions.
Have a magical day,
Nancy
