Hi! We want to bring our City Select (double stroller) to Disney and are staying at Port Orleans. Will we be required to fold it to get on the bus to the monorail, or can we somehow walk it on? And we are able to walk it straight on the monorail? Thanks!

Hi there, Christine! Thank you so much for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As a mom of two little ones myself, I know that a double stroller is an absolute necessity for a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation.

Christine, you will be required to fold up any stroller to utilize the bus transportation throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, including from your resort to any theme park. When riding the Monorail, however, you may wheel the stroller directly onboard without collapsing it. This is one of the many reasons that I love taking the monorail between the Magic Kingdom and Epcot, as it really makes Park Hopping a breeze!

I also want to make sure that you are aware of the stroller size regulations. No stroller can be larger than 31 inches wide by 52 inches long. Looking at the City Select Double, I believe that it does fall within the requirements as long as both seats are forward-facing, but I would be sure to check your particular model.

I hope that this answered your question, Christine, and please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help answer any other questions to make your vacation a little more magical.
