    1. Can I bring bourbon onboard my cruise in my carry on? How much? 2. How much are cell phone packages for a cruise?

    Hi Rebecca,

Welcome aboard planDisney! I'm glad you sailed by with your great questions; we are happy to help!

Disney Cruise Line offers Guests, 21 years and older, the opportunity to carry on a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) at the start of your sailing and each port of call. No other alcohol, such as bourbon, can be brought on board. If you purchase other alcohol in one of the ports of call, you will declare it before boarding the ship and it will be securely stored for you for the remainder of the cruise. You can pick it up when you disembark at the end of your cruise.

If you are a bourbon lover, I highly recommend the Bourbon Beverage Tasting Seminar (for an additional fee). This seminar explores the history, flavors and styles of your favorite spirit. You will enjoy learning new insights and tasting a variety of bourbons. As a bonus, this seminar is often offered in one of the most luxurious lounges on the ship! You can register for this and other tasting seminars when your onboard booking window opens before your cruise by navigating to Book / Manage Cruise Activities under the Already Booked tab on the website.

Now, to use your cellular service at sea you must contact your service provider and inquire about rates for enabling international roaming or cruise ship services. The service is often called "Cellular at Sea," but some providers have other terms. Typically, Cellular at Sea activates when you are about 8 - 12 miles from shore. When you are closer to a port, the service deactivates and you will connect via local land-based carriers.

Remember that you won't need cellular service to use the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app since you can use the ship's complimentary wireless network while onboard. Also, a variety of internet packages are available (for an additional fee) while on board. When you board the ship, open the Navigator app and select "Connect to Internet" to find the different packages available.

I hope this information is what you need, Rebecca. Sail by any time with other questions!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
