Ahoy there, Lawrence!
Welcome aboard planDisney! I totally get wanting to make sure your favorite drink is never far from reach—after all, staying hydrated is basically rule number one of vacation mode! Whether you're team bubbly soda or loyal to your favorite bottled water, let's chart the right course to make sure those beverages make it onboard with you.
The good news? You can absolutely bring bottled water or soda with you! But here’s the very important part—anything you bring must be
packed in your carry-on luggage and must be unopened and in the original factory-sealed containers. If you try to sneak those fizzy friends into your checked luggage, they might get intercepted faster than a cursed coin from Captain Barbossa's treasure chest. Trust me—you don’t want your cruise kickoff to include losing that precious cargo.
Now, if your favorite soda happens to be a Coca-Cola product, you might be in luck! Disney Cruise Line offers a variety of
complimentary soda options at the Beverage Station(s) on the pool deck, plus you’ll find
soft drinks available at buffet locations like Marceline Market or Cabanas. Even your dinner servers will keep your cup full (without extra charge), which is a pretty sweet deal. Options can vary by ship and sailing, but there’s usually something to keep your taste buds smiling.
When it comes to water, here’s a tip from my own crew’s adventures: bring a refillable water bottle! I’m usually a stickler for bottled water, but Disney’s onboard water is filtered, chilled, and honestly tastes great. You can refill your water at the Beverage Station and even at
Senses Spa, which is especially helpful if you’re planning to stay “Part of That World” on the fitness side of the ship.
I hope this helps as you pack your bags and get ready to set sail! If more questions bubble up, I’m always here to help stir the pot (or in this case, pop the tab).
Sea ya real soon with a June full of sun, sea, and shipshape adventures,
Dustin
