What are considered speciality drinks for kids? For which they would have to pay? What food items are not included in the cost of the cruise, that we would have to pay for?

    Ahoy, Chantay!

Welcome aboard planDisney! One of the best parts of sailing with Disney is that so much is already included—you don’t need a magic lamp package just to enjoy soda, soft-serve ice cream, or a variety of delicious dining options!

Now, when it comes to beverages, this applies to all Guests—kids and adults alike. Let’s start with the complimentary drink options that you’ll find at the self-serve beverage stations on the pool deck, as well as at Cabanas or Marceline Market (offerings may vary by ship and are subject to change):

    • Coca-Cola
    • Diet Coke
    • Coke Zero
    • Sprite
    • Fuze Iced Tea
    • Fanta
    • Seagram’s Ginger Ale
    • Powerade
    • Minute Maid Light Lemonade
    • Vitamin Water Acai-Blueberry-Pomegranate
    • Water
    • Nestea Unsweetened Iced Tea
    • Milk (full-fat, from a dispenser)
    • Fresh hot coffee (Regular and Decaffeinated)

Now, if your little sailor is looking for something a bit more special, there are some drinks that will come with an extra charge. These include:

    • Smoothies (like the fun creations at Frozone Treats)
    • Bottled water
    • Canned sodas purchased at lounges, or shops
    • Specialty coffees from Cove Café or other onboard cafés
    • Non-alcoholic mocktails from lounges

When in doubt, you can always check the menu or ask your server at dinner—anything that costs extra will be clearly marked. As for food, Disney Cruise Line includes many dining experiences in your fare! You can enjoy unlimited bites from:

    • Your Rotational Dining restaurants (including that show-stopping dessert at Animator’s Palate!)
    • Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods (for amazing quick-service eats)
    • Cabanas or Marceline Market (the buffet locations)
    • Flo’s Café (a great grab-and-go option)
    • Soft-serve ice cream on the pool deck

However, there are a few extra-cost dining locations and treats, including:

    • Palo, Remy, Palo Steakhouse, and Enchanté (adults-only specialty dining experiences)
    • Frozone Treats and Vanellope’s Sweets & Treats (for ice cream, gelato, and specialty sundaes)
    • Preludes (cookies, candy, popcorn, and beverages)

One of my favorite things about a Disney cruise is that you’ll never go hungry—there’s always something delicious just around the corner! Whether your crew is sipping on a soda by the pool or indulging in a complimentary Mickey ice cream bar after dinner, there’s magic in every bite.

Sea ya real soon with luck in the air and magic everywhere,
    Dustin
