Hiya, Jose! I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney as you are racing to the
Most Magical Place on Earth.
I'll be quick like Lightning McQueen because knowing what to pack this morning, as you head to a theme park, is important to reduce any pit stops at security. Generally speaking, you can bring a backpack, as long as it complies with the
property rules. It cannot be larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high.
The rules also provide essential information on what to leave at home when packing your bag, including glass containers (except for baby food), loose ice, and anything that is or resembles a weapon.
To help breeze through security, remove anything that might raise the system's curiosity about your bag, including water bottles, sunglass cases, and umbrellas. Hold them away from your body as you walk through the screeners. It won't guarantee that you won't get a flagged for inspection, but it can reduce the chances. And while I can share the policies and my experience, any judgment about what is allowed at the theme parks is ultimately at the discretion of the security and Cast Members on site.
Jose, I hope you have a magical trip to Walt Disney World Resort and have everything you need within reach. If you have any other questions, please feel free to race back by
planDisney. We'll do our best to help you on your way!
See 'Ya Real Soon!
