Hi Sally!
Welcome BACK to
planDisney! It is great to see you here asking another question about sailing with
Disney Cruise Line. Snacking and cruising are two of my favorite things, so I am happy to provide you with an answer about snacks you can bring on board when you embark on your Disney Cruise Line cruise.
You will find tasty foods and snacks aplenty on board the
Disney Dream. With the wide selection of
Cabanas during breakfast and lunch, the outdoor food court, including four different food stations with varying cuisine,
Vanellope’s Sweets and Treats, and Chilly Delights, you will be spoiled for choice. All of these options, plus your rotational dining for dinner and
in-room dining available 24 hours a day. There is something to delight everyone’s taste buds at all times of the day.
I understand that even with all the lovely food available on board your cruise ship, there are some snacks you would like to bring from home to have available in your stateroom. When planning the snacks you want to bring on your Disney Cruise Line cruise, there are a few rules to keep in mind. Any snacks you bring onboard must be nonperishable and in their original factory-sealed packaging. I’m afraid this rules out snacks in Ziploc bags. You can read the complete list of prohibited items on the
Prohibited and Restricted Items page.
While I’m sorry you cannot bring the Ziploc bags of snacks for your kids on your Disney cruise, I hope you have enough time to regroup and bring snacks within the allowable food items. Rest assured, Sally, with the giant selection and variety of food on board, you will cruise with happy hearts and full tummies. If we can answer any more of your vacation questions, please bring them here to planDisney. We are delighted to set sail in pursuit of answers for you.
Happy Cruising!
Angie
