Ahoy Mary!
Welcome to planDisney. I'd be more than happy to answer your question today.
My family absolutely loves sailing with
Disney Cruise Line. It's a fantastic way for the entire family to unwind and soak up plenty of magic and sunshine together. My husband and I especially love sitting on our verandah and enjoying a glass of wine together as we chat about the memories we made that day. Though you can purchase a variety of beer, wine, and specialty cocktails onboard, we love being able to carry on our favorite bottle to enjoy.
I'm happy to share that the current policy allows guests 21 years and older to
bring along 2 bottles of wine or champagne (750ml or less), or six beers (12 oz. or less) per person on embarkation day. Guests may also bring the same onboard at each port of call, subject to additional terms and conditions. You'll need to ensure approved alcoholic beverages are brought as a carry-on and not in your checked luggage, and that all bottles/cans are in their original unopened packaging. While you'll be able to enjoy these beverages in your stateroom, you won't be permitted to consume them in public areas of the ship. However, if you'd like to bring a bottle of wine or champagne to one of your
Rotational Dining restaurants, you can do so subject to a corking fee.
I'm sure you'll find something to please your palate even if you opt to leave your favorite bottles at home. I'm always impressed by the inventive cocktails available in the restaurants and lounges onboard, and love finding new favorites based on suggestions from the bartenders and serving team. We were especially blown away by the smoke bubble drinks we enjoyed in
Nightingale's and
Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge on our recent
Disney Wish sailing.
Mary, if I can be of further assistance please don't hesitate to come back with more questions. We're always happy to help here at
planDisney.
Wishing you magic and memories at sea,
Amy
