Can you bring anything on the rides like a purse or backpack? If these items are not allowed on the rides, what are the options for these things?

    Hi there, Michelle!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We're glad you stopped by with your question.

I love taking a crossbody bag or medium-sized backpack into the theme parks with all of my park touring essentials. You'll be happy to know Guests are allowed to carry purses or backpacks onto the attractions at Walt Disney World Resort.  Some attractions feature a dedicated storage compartment in the ride vehicle. When riding thrill attractions, I usually stow my bag on the floor of the ride vehicle with a foot through one strap.  On some of the slower rides such as "it's a small world,"  I prefer to hold my bag on my lap or place it on the seat beside me. I've never encountered any issues with bringing a bag onto an attraction and have never lost any of my belongings when doing so.

Lockers are also available to rent in all four theme parks and both water parks. Although I prefer to keep my bag with me for easier accessibility, you may decide to store your bag in a locker throughout the day.

I hope this information is helpful to you, Michelle. Please stop by again with any new questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
