Bret, You mentioned a Disney-related podcast in a prior question. I love podcasts, and was wondering if you could point me in the direction of some podcasts that could be helpful for planning WDW trips?

    Theron,

I love podcasts as well. They are great to listen to while exercising/jogging and/or in the car.

For those unfamiliar with podcasts, they are similar to radio shows but are mp3 file-based (usually downloaded via the iTunes store), and are usually free.  You can listen to them on most mp3 players, or on your computer using free software like iTunes.

There are MANY Disney podcasts, but the ones I find helpful for WDW planning include:
    - "WDW Today":  Hosted by a panel of Disney fans, including Len Testa co-author of the Unofficial Guide.  Each week there is a show focused on a specific WDW-related topic, and one based on listener questions. They also have a monthly live call-in show.
    - "DIS unplugged": Hosted by a roundtable of Disney experts, including Pete Werner, the owner of WDWinfo.com. They typically have two shows a week - one is a roundtable discussion on various topics and the other is based on listen questions.
    - "Be Our Guest":  Hosted by Mike Rahlmann. A relatively new podcast which invites listeners to share their recent WDW vacation experiences. The show also includes a weekly roundtable discussion and/or a special guest. I'm especially partial to this podcast, since several of the "Moms" from the Moms Panel were recently interviewed on this show! ;-)

Other Disney-related podcasts that I enjoy, but are less focused on WDW trip planning, include:
    - "WDW Radio Show":  Hosted by Lou Mongello, author of several WDW trivia books. This show includes news, rumors, trivia, and some great interviews of Disney Imagineers, authors, and other special guests.
    - "Inside the Magic": Hosted by Ricky Brigante. A weekly show covering a broad spectrum of WDW- and Orlando-related topics.
    - "Netcot":  Hosted by "Van."  A fun/hip show which somehow manages to mix WDW and many references to big hair bands and professional wrestling. Definitely a guy thing!  :-)
