Brett, me and the BF leave for Disney in just 15 days. Im very excited for pin trading, BUT I am the kind of girl that always has to look good and Im not interested in wearing the lanyard. Is it acceptable to pin them on my bag so they are still visible?

    Jessica,

If you are looking for pin trading fashion advice, I'm probably not the right "Mom" for you. For example, I have no idea if it is OK to use a white lanyard before Spring. ;-)  However, if your are just looking for some facts about pin trading, I think I can help!

There are really no rules about where you can and can't display trading pins.  Most Cast Members will use either a neck lanyard, or a hip lanyard (basically a 5" by 5" piece of fabric clipped to a waist belt) to display their pins, but I have seen guests displaying them many different ways, including on lanyards, jackets, hats, backpacks, and, YES, even on bags.

Since the person you are trading with is not supposed to touch your pins before a trade, how you choose to display your pins is entirely up to you.  Personally I would just want to make sure that they are well secured (so they won't fall off) and they are easy to access and trade.

Hope that helps.  If you want more fashion advice for your pin trading accessories, I'd suggest you also ask Laura for her opinion, but I should warn you that she'll have you buying a tiara before you know it!!
