Hi, Bret. I noticed that the May calendar is not up on Nov. 6. My ADR day for June is Dec. 3. I am worried about finalizing my dining plans if I can't see EMH for June as that determines which park we visit on which day.How would you handle this situation?

Although Disney often updates their calendar at or near the first day of the month, six months in advance, sometimes there is a delay.

When I was planning for our trip after Thanksgiving this year, the calendars were about a month late (yikes!).  In these cases, I simply refer to the calendar from the prior year and assume that things won't change too much.  To do this, make sure to compare the same days of the week, not the numbers. For example if you are traveling the first Monday to Friday of June 2009, then look at the first Monday to Friday in June 2008.  Of course this assumes that the EMH calendars won't change dramatically from year to year -- often a reasonable assumption, but not always 100% true.  In my case, I used the first week after Thanksgiving from 2007, and found it almost perfectly matched the same week in 2008 once it was published.

The two sources I know of for historical hours/EMH calendars are www.wdwinfo.com [free] and www.tourguidemike.com [paid service]. Unfortunately the official Disney World calendar doesn't have historical months.

Hopefully the calendars will be ready early next month, and if not, I hope my tips above help you out.
