Hi Bret, I loved the info you gave on the diver at Coral Reef and are all set for 9/25. They were great to deal with. I was hoping you could help me with any other ideas like that. Ones that may make the trip just a little more special.

For other interested in requesting a dive banner and/or a personalized menu (with photos, if you like) at the Coral Reef, send an email to: wdw.epcot.coral.reef.restaurant@disney.com. In your message be sure to include date, time, names, and your dining reservation number.

I recently discovered that Narcoossee's and Artist Point also offer personalized menus (without photos).  I have spoken with managers at both of these restaurants in the last few days, and they mentioned that all you need to do is mention the special event (B-Day, Anniversary, etc.) when you make your ADR (advance dining reservation) and they will personalize the menu for your table.

There are lots of other special little things to do at WDW, and are great to fit into your plans wherever convenient. There are more than I can list here, but let me mention some of my favorite ones (write again if you need details, or want more ideas)...
    - "Flag family" at the Wilderness Lodge
    - The Electric Water Pageant
    - Campfire sing-a-long at Fort Wilderness
    - "Night vision" of animals at the Animal Kingdom Lodge
    - Yeehaa Bob at Port Orleans Riverside
    - The Candy Lady at the Japan Pavilion (Epcot)
    - Flag ceremony at sunset at the Magic Kingdom
    - Riding in the front of the monorail
    - Animation class at Disney's Hollywood Studios
    - Opening ceremonies at each of the parks (especially the Magic Kingdom)
    - Be the first to find the hidden paint brushes on Tom Sawyer's Island

Hope that gives you some new ideas.  Have fun!!
