We have breakfast reservations at Boma on our last day. What is the best way to get there from Pop Century? Also, what parks are close to it? Thank You, Tammie

Jambo, Tammie! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We want you to have no worries for the rest of your days during your trip, so let's talk about some strategies to get you to your breakfast in time!

Since the buses don't travel between resorts at Walt Disney World, the best way to get to Boma from Disney's Pop Century Resort would be to board a bus going to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, which in my experience, took about 20-25 minutes. This is the closest Park, and is only a five-minute ride to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge once you board the bus; however, you may have to wait a few minutes at the Park for the bus to arrive. To be safe, I'd allow an hour to get to your breakfast in time. If convenience is a priority, consider using Disney's Minnie Van Service, which works through the Lyft app. While this service is not complimentary, it's definitely the more direct route and will get you there in a jiffy (about 20 minutes).

You'll find Boma below the lobby on the ground floor of Animal Kingdom Lodge's Jambo House. The word Boma translates into "a fence made of thorny sticks," and you'll see that this fits the theme of the restaurant perfectly. The menu features classic breakfast favorites such as waffles, cereal, and omelets, but the stars of the show are the African dishes including Pap with Chakalaka Sauce (my son's favorite) and Turkey Bobotie. But for me, the French Toast Bread Pudding with Pecan Praline and warm Vanilla Sauce is heaven on a plate! Pair this with some breakfast potatoes and POG Juice (and a few cups of Kenyan coffee), and you'll be raring to go for your last day at the Parks- those banshees will be waiting for you!

Hakuna Matata, Tammie! Come back and see us again!
