Hey there, hi there, Tom. We are so glad you've dropped by planDisney with your parking question.
A character breakfast is a fantastic way to start the day and I think you will love your dining experience at
Storytellers Cafe. You can't have a bad day when Mickey Waffles are involved! You've brought us a great question wanting to know where to park if you will be heading to the parks after your meal. While your dining reservation does include complimentary 3-hour parking at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, there is a standard first-hour fee plus an hourly additional rate after those 3 hours that can get spendy for a full park day. This is why I would suggest parking in standard theme park parking, which would be the
Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals Parking Structures or the Toy Story Parking Area.
From the parking structures you could head to the bottom floor to go through security and board the trams that will drop you off in
Downtown Disney District where you would walk to the Downtown Disney District entrance of the hotel located between The Disney Dress Shop and Sephora. If you use the Toy Story Parking Area, you would take a bus to the Harbor Blvd entrance area, walk through the Esplanade between the two parks and head into Downtown Disney District and enter the same way. Either option will be the most cost-effective, but you will need to allow more time to park, get through security, and get to your location.
Tom, I hope I've given you all the information you need to make the best decision for your day. Tell Mickey I said hello!
Carrie
