Welcome to planDisney, Charlianne! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today. The end of August is such a great time to visit Walt Disney World Resort because you'll get to kick off the Halloween season!
Magic Kingdom Park will be beautifully decorated with fall foliage and
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be in full swing, so you'll definitely be in the spooky spirit a bit early this year.
Charlianne,
MagicBands and MagicBand+ don't link to specific tickets but rather to a guest's
My Disney Experience account. If your tickets are linked to the same account as your MagicBand, then you're good to go! It doesn't matter if you purchased your admission directly from Disney or from a third party, you will be able to use them with your MagicBand once you have set them up in your account.
To link your tickets, open up the
My Disney Experience app and tap the menu in the bottom right corner. Tap on "Tickets and Passes" and select "Link Tickets & Passes" at the top of the screen. From there, you have the choice to scan the ticket with your phone camera or type in the ID number. Once it's linked, it will appear in the Tickets and Passes section of the app, and any MagicBand or MagicBand+ listed under "MagicBands and More" can be used to access those tickets.
I hope this answers your question, Charlianne, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
Jessica
