I have a breakfast reservation at Magic Kingdom for 8:20, but I hear parking opens at 8:00 and lines can be long at TTC. I'm worried rushing kids from parking, through TTC, gate, and Main St to get in time. Do you have any tips?

Welcome to planDisney, Bonny! I'm so glad you stopped by with this great question. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so how exciting to start your day at Magic Kingdom Park with some delicious food. We want your day to be problem-free, so let's look at tips to get you to your meal on time.

I spoke to an early-bird Cast Member who said parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) typically opens 60-90 minutes before Early Theme Park Entry at Magic Kingdom Park. Looking ahead at the calendar, Early Entry is at 8:30 AM most mornings for the next few weeks, so you should be able to access parking around 7:00-7:30 AM. I know that's early, so my first tip is to ensure your family gets a good night's sleep. When my son was young, we'd make a game of getting out the door on time. He could choose our first snack of the day if he made it, and since he's a foodie like me, that usually did the trick!

Another tip is to take the Ferryboat service from the TTC to Magic Kingdom Park, especially if you have a stroller. You won't have to break down your stroller on the boat, but you might have to if you opt for the monorail since that will be a busy time. I recently enjoyed the boat ride from the TTC. Remember that the ferryboats can accommodate many guests, so don't be discouraged if the line looks long.

When you arrive at the park entrance, have your My Disney Experience Mobile App ready because you might be asked for proof of your dining reservation. You should breeze right through as long as you can show your dining confirmation and have a valid Theme Park Ticket and Reservation for Magic Kingdom Park. If you have time, you can snap a photo with Cinderella Castle while the crowds are lighter and your family is bright-eyed!

Bonny, I hope I've given you some options for traveling to that all-important breakfast. If you're eating at my family's favorite, Cinderella's Royal Table, please give the princesses my regards. Feel free to stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
