If I have a breakfast reservation at the Grand Floridian, can I park at Magic Kingdom and get the monorail to the hotel and then back to the park? Even if I’m not staying at a Disney hotel?

Hi Laura, and welcome to planDisney!

I have great news: you can leave your car in the parking lot at Disney's Magic Kingdom Park, and Monorail over to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and enjoy your breakfast! Whether it's a breakfast reservation at 1900 Park Fare or Grand Floridian Café, know they are both great options to start the day! You can retake the monorail or take a Water Taxi back to Magic Kingdom. I suggest doing both options, it will give you a great view of Seven Seas Lagoon, and the Grand Floridian from different perspectives!

Walt Disney World Resort has numerous methods of transportation, and they are all fun to experience! If you are staying at a resort on the Disney Skyliner route, getting to Disney's Hollywood Studios and EPCOT is a breeze! Riding in a Minnie Van is my favorite way of travel, especially when I have an early breakfast reservation at a theme park. The Disney Bus Transportation system has recently come out with new bus wraps in their fleet, and it's always fun pinpointing our favorite characters, or Disney films with my kids. Finally, the FriendShip Boats from the EPCOT resort area to EPCOT or Hollywood Studios are also another magical way to travel and view the grounds from a different perspective!

Laura, I hope you have a magical visit next month! Thank you again for visiting planDisney, and if you need additional pixie dust to plan your visit, send me questions anytime. You've got a friend in me!
