Hi Shatoria!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney! Your trip is getting so close! Whoop whoop!
Chef Mickey’s is one of my boys’ all-time favorite character breakfasts. There’s just something about meeting the classic characters and being able to watch the Monorail ride by at the same time that makes it one of their top choices when I ask where they want to eat on our trips!
If you’re planning to visit the
Magic Kingdom right after breakfast and you plan to drive yourself, you’ll have a couple of options.
First, you can park right there at the
Contemporary during your meal. However, it’s good to note that you will need to move your car to the main Magic Kingdom parking lot once you’re done if you’re heading there next.
Your other option (and the one I would recommend!) is to drive to the main Magic Kingdom parking lot at the Transportation and Ticket Center right off the bat. From there, you’ll hop on the
Monorail to get to the Contemporary. Make sure you get on the Resort Line and not the Express Line, though! The Resort Line will make stops at the Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Magic Kingdom, and finally the Contemporary. If you go this route, make sure to give yourself plenty of time to park and make it over to the Contemporary.
After breakfast, you can hop back onto the Monorail to get to the Magic Kingdom or take the short walk over to the park.
If you’ll be taking
Disney World bus transportation from your resort to the Contemporary, I recommend jumping on the bus to the Magic Kingdom. Then you can take the Monorail or the walking path from there.
I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions. We’ll see you real soon!
