Hi Chanelle,
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is one of my favorite places at Disney World. The vibe is amazing and the food is delicious. The character breakfast at
'Ohana is one of the most unique character dining experiences you will find with a fun island theme. I am excited that your family will get to experience this because it is an absolute blast dancing with Stitch and all of his favorite friends.
Disney Resort hotel parking is for resort guests only or those with advanced dining reservations. If you park at a resort hotel for an advanced dining reservation, the expectation is that you will only keep your car there for the duration of your visit to the resort. You should move your car before you head to the theme parks for the day.
Luckily, Disney's Polynesian Resort is super close to the Magic Kingdom parking lot. When you park at the Magic Kingdom, you will actually be parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then hopping on a monorail to get to the Magic Kingdom entrance. Before you pass the gates for the Transporation and Ticket Center, there is a pathway on your left that leads right to the Polynesian Village Resort. It is a quick walk and then you don't need to worry about your car until you are ready to leave for the day! As soon as breakfast is over, you can walk right out of the restaurant and onto the monorail for a quick ride over to Magic Kingdom!
Disney World parking lots typically open at least 45 minutes before the theme park opens to guests. I find that they actually open the parking lots closer to 60 minutes before the theme park opens even though they don't guarantee that. I recommend getting there at 7:30 and hoping that they open a little early that morning. For the date you mentioned, the
Magic Kingdom opens at 8:30 AM so the parking lots should be open in plenty of time for you to park and walk over to 'Ohana.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
