Hi Dorothy,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and greetings from a fellow Hoosier! Starting a magical Disney day with a delicious breakfast at
Magic Kingdom park sounds like a
fantastic idea!
I’m happy to let you know that you will have no trouble parking at the Magic Kingdom parking lot (also known as the Transportation and Ticket Center) early enough for your breakfast reservation. That lot opens extra early since many Guests have early morning breakfast reservations at Magic Kingdom park or one of the Disney Resort hotels along the monorail. While the
Ferryboat and Express Monorail might not be running yet, the
Resort Monorail will be. Simply hop on that and ride three stops (1. Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, 2. Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and 3. Magic Kingdom park) to get to your destination. Make sure to allow plenty of travel time, plus time to go through security and ticketing. I don't like to worry about being late, so if I were you, I'd plan on arriving at the parking lot around 7:00 a.m. for an 8:10 a.m. dining reservation. Depending on what time the theme park opens that day, you may want to look for a special line to allow Guests with breakfast reservations to enter the theme park early. If you’re able to do that, be sure to stop for some pictures along the way! It’s incredible to be able to enjoy Main Street U.S.A. with very few other people around!
Thanks so much for visiting us again, Dorothy, and please feel free to keep your great questions coming. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
