Jambo Joanna!
Welcome to planDisney. I'm happy to be your guide as we set off on this breakfast safari quest today. I stayed at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge-Kidani Village earlier this year and was also very curious about
Sanaa's Kuamsha Breakfast, a casual quick-service option at this beautiful venue. Let's discover the offerings together.
I stopped in around 8:45 a.m. on my way to the parks to scope out the details and spotted two tables of grab-and-go items as well as a menu for made-to-order breakfast items on the bar top. I didn't have time to enjoy a sit-down meal this morning so I perused the pastries and decided on an order of banana bread which came with two small packages of chocolate hazelnut spread. This was a perfect hand-held treat to enjoy with a view of the giraffes before we headed to the theme park buses. Cinnamon rolls, muffins, yogurt parfaits, fresh fruit, and individual-size cereals were also available alongside a variety of juice, milk, and other bottled beverages,
I took a peek at the made-to-order menu and saw Eggs Benedict, Shahi Tukra French Toast which came with a chai cream, and the Boere Breakfast of eggs, sausage, and home fries among a few other options. Kids can choose from Mickey waffles or the Explorer Platter of eggs accompanied by home fries and fresh fruit. Keep in mind that menu offerings are always subject to change.
These hot entrees are all made-to-order and will be brought to your table when ready. They are typically served on standard dinnerware so guests can enjoy watching the animals on the Sunset Savanna while dining. However, Sanaa also offers Sanaa To Go, a
Mobile Order option for lunch and dinner so take-out boxes are certainly available at this location. Just request that you'd like your items packaged to go when placing your order and I'm sure they will be able to accommodate the request.
Reservations are strongly encouraged for a Table-Service lunch or dinner but reservations are not required during the breakfast window which is typically offered between 7:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. I'd recommend making time to enjoy a meal here at least once during your trip as the menu is wonderful and the views are unmatched. If you decide to make a reservation for lunch or dinner (or opt to Mobile Order to-go using your
My Disney Experience Mobile App) don't miss the Indian-Style Bread Service. I also really enjoyed the Samaki-Wa Kupaka, a turmeric marinated fish served in coconut gravy, and the Butter Chicken from the Potjie-Inspired section of the menu.
I hope this helped, Joanna. If we can answer any additional questions please come back and let us know.
Magic and memories,
Amy
