After we have breakfast at the Cafe in the GF I wanted to check out the POR & go for a Surrey ride then take the ferry to DD, do you think it's worth the trip & what is the quickest way to get there?

Hi Joanne! Thanks for writing the panel! And, by the way, love your name! As I'm reading your question, I'm saying yes, yes, YES to each part. First off, love that you're going to have breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe. My daughter and I did that a few months back and loved every minute of it! Be sure to take some time and walk around that gorgeous resort and visit the shops.

The quickest way to get to Port Orleans Riverside would be to hop on the monorail at the Grand Floridian and get off one stop later at the Magic Kingdom. It's fun and super fast. From there, walk over to the bus stops and grab a bus to Port Orleans, where there is so much to see and do. You could also take a ferry to the Magic Kingdom from the Grand Floridian, but the ride is longer as it first stops at the Polynesian Resort.

When you're ready to leave Port Orleans, the ferry to Downtown Disney is the best way to go! It's so relaxing! And by then you should be hungry again, so stop in for a bite at one of the many great restaurants.

Write back with any other questions Joanne!
