We have an 8:05 breakfast at Akershus. We will be staying at Boardwalk. Will we be able to walk to EPCOT and enter at the back entrance at 7:30? Or do we need to get transportation to the main EPCOT entrance?? Thank you! Meghan

    Meghan,

You will be relieved to know that you can get from Disney's BoardWalk Inn to your Akershus Royal Banquet Hall breakfast via the International Gateway. You will NOT have to find your way around to the 'front door' of Epcot!

As with entering early for a dining reservation at any park, you will be directed to follow a roped off walkway from that entrance to the restaurant. This is such a great way to enjoy a great breakfast and get a jump on some rides. I also love walking the park when it is essentially empty.

DOUG'S TIP: While on the walk from the International Gateway to the Norway Pavilion, you will have so many great photo opportunities with no crowd in the shot. There are several great places to stop for a second and get photos with those World Showcase national landmarks, or better yet the Spaceship Earth as the backdrop for your next holiday card photo!

    Have a Magical Vacation!
