If I have a 10:10am breakfast ADR at Tusker House, can I make an 11:30 FP+ at Festival of the Lion King? I believe the new location is near Tusker House??? Just trying to make a plan for my FP+ booking day which is approaching. Thank you.

    Hi Jana,

I think your plan will work. The character meals at Tusker House typically take about an hour - that's the amount of time the characters target to make it around to every table in the room. Since the meal is a buffet, you won't have any problems getting your food and eating it within the time frame you're suggesting. Assuming that you're seated right away, you should be done by 11:10 and will have no problem making the five minute walk to the Lion King theater in Africa.

You can do a few things to extra ensure that you're in a good position to see the show. First, be sure that you arrive a bit early for you meal. This will allow them to seat you early if a table opens up. Also, at some point in the middle of your meal, ask for the check rather than waiting until the end. If you're not ordering any alcohol, you can even ask for your check at the beginning of the meal to speed things still further. They won't rush you out and having already paid, you'll be able to bolt as soon as you're done seeing all the characters.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
