Hi Brandy, I’ve sent you a question before and you were a great help. I’m not clear on what Memory Makers is or does. Can you explain it and it’s value. Also what is PhotoPass? We should be getting our Magic Bands soon. Thanks. Andrea

Hey, Andrea! Thank you so much for stopping by again! I see your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up soon. I am glad you were able to get your MagicBands customized and they should be arriving any day now. Those little beauties are going to come in handy when you are in the parks taking Disney PhotoPass pictures. Let's discuss a bit about what this service is and how Memory Maker can help you take full advantage of it.

The Disney PhotoPass Service is a complimentary way to have photographic memories taken across Walt Disney World Resort. The Disney PhotoPass photographers are found throughout the theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. They will scan your MagicBand to link the pictures to your My Disney Experience account. Your MagicBands will give you access to your on-ride attraction photos and videos. You are welcome to purchase individual photos or even keepsakes featuring the photos.

There is a charge for each photo download. If you are interested in obtaining more than just a few photos, there is an enhancement to Disney PhotoPass Service called Memory Maker. Memory Maker is a photo package that includes digital copies of all the photos taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers as well as attraction photos and videos. Considering the number of opportunities available, my family always finds it beneficial to invest in Memory Maker. Andrea, If you are considering Memory Maker, you will definitely want to take advantage of the Advance Purchase discount, which must be completed three days before you take your first Disney PhotoPass photo.

I hope this helps explain the difference between these magical extras. Please let me know if you have more questions. My fellow panelists and I are always are always happy to help!
