Hey, Ari! If there is one thing I look forward to every year, it is the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. There are so many activities going on all over the park, including tours of the World Showcase gardens and Global Marketplaces with amazing tastes from all over the world. Music buffs will want to check out the World Showcase Pavilions as many feature musical acts throughout the festival. My favorite band this past year was Bodh'aktan in the Canadian Pavilion. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they rock the kilt again this year!
For seriously fun music, head to the American Gardens Theater to check out the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.
A great lineup was recently announced, with favorites Air Supply, Hanson, and Sugar Ray noted on the lineup so far. The list is not complete yet, so join me as I wish upon a star for Dennis DeYoung to come sail away to Epcot again this fall!
After your festival fun, you will definitely want some time to chill with your friends and family. There are a couple of places in Magic Kingdom Park that I like to hang out and just soak up the magic. My favorite place to be in the evening is on the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover in Tomorrowland. After dark, this land's glowing lights give the park new energy and you will have a unique high-in-the-sky view of it all. As you chill on the coolest ride in Tomorrowland, be on the lookout for one of my favorite Cinderella Castle views! Another favorite spot is the Enchanted Tiki Room in Adventureland. My daughters and I love to head here in the afternoon (with a Dole Whip Float, of course!) to relax and revel in the simplicity of its magic.
I could seriously talk all day about the low-key, relaxing side of Walt Disney World Resort, so head on back if you want to talk more about these hidden and not-so-hidden gems in this magical park!
