Hi, Kaleena! Thank you for stopping by to ask me this question! Memory Maker and Disney's PhotoPass Service actually work hand in hand. Without PhotoPass, there would be no Memory Maker! With no Memory Maker, well, I would probably have minimal vacation photos. When we look back on our first trips to Walt Disney World Resort, it looks as if my husband and kids were there by themselves since I was always stuck behind the camera. With Memory Maker, I could rely on Disney's PhotoPass photographers to capture all of our memories. Let's talk about the differences between these two magical additions to your vacation so you can determine which is right for you.
All guests of Walt Disney World Resort are welcome to take part in
Disney's PhotoPass Service. Simply locate any of the Disney's PhotoPass photographers and let them snap a memory for you. You will be able to view, download, and share your pictures online or in your My Disney Experience app. There is no cost to have them take your picture, but there is a cost per use of picture. If you plan to purchase a few of them, you may want to consider
Memory Maker. With this, you will get unlimited downloads of your vacation memories. Considering we usually have hundreds of pictures each trip, I consider Memory Maker a wise investment! As a great incentive, Memory Maker can currently be purchased at a $30 discount if completed at least three days in advance of your vacation.
I am so sorry it took me a few days to get back to you, Kaleena. It seems that sneaky Experiment 626, Stitch, got loose in the system, created a little havoc, and your question did not get sent my way until today. Hopefully, I have helped you understand the difference in these options for your vacation memories. Please let me know if I can help you plan more of your vacation!
