Hey, David! I am so glad you stopped by with your question. I am seriously a huge fan of those makeup mirrors in the guest rooms! My husband really gained some bonus points when he installed one in our home for me. Now, these old eyes of mine can easily see even the smallest stray eyebrow hair and make sure my makeup is magical. Every time I use it, it reminds me of my
Happy Place and I just have to smile. Now, I just have to work on getting a soft-service machine for at-home Dole Whip Floats!
I sure wish we could post pictures on here, but we are not able to do so. However, I have all the model information to share with you. I have noticed two different models of mirrors at the resort, but really the only difference is the magnification of the mirror. Since I always use these mirrors during our
Disney Resort Hotel stays, I have noticed a higher magnification strength in mirrors found in some of the rooms that have recently been refurbished. Maybe they ended up swapping to the mirrors with higher magnification when updating the rooms? I am not sure, but it sure seemed that way to me and my weary eyes.
The Jerdon lighted makeup mirrors come in several different finishes, so that will change the model number slightly. I have the bronze finish, so the last letters of the model number will be BZD. For chrome finish, the model number will end in CD, and nickel finish ends in ND. The mirrors at the resorts currently are the chrome finish. The full model name is Jerdon 8-inch Lighted Direct-Wire Wall-Mount Mirror. For 5x magnification (the original picture I took several years ago was this magnification), the model number is HL65CD. Again, change that last grouping of letters to your preferred finish. If you would like a tad stronger magnification, go for the 8x mirror, model HL75CD.
I hope this information helps you find a mirror for your home that is practically perfect in every way! Thanks so much for stopping by and please let us know if you have any other questions!
