    I am brand new to running, but I have my sights set on the Princess Half Marathon! This may be a trivial question, but if I race by myself, will there be a way to take pictures with the characters? I don't want to bother strangers to take my picture. ;)

    What a great goal! I hope you have fun training for the Princess Half Marathon AND running at Walt Disney World. A race at WDW is like no other - its the most fun I've ever had running and sweating!

    No worries! PhotoPass photographers are available at all, or nearly all, of the character opportunities during the race. If you'd like to carry a camera with you, they will be happy to take a photo with your camera for you or you can purchase the photos via the service. Also, official race photos will be taken along the course. These are typically taken by a third-party, independent photography service and are available for purchase as well.

    My favorite race photo opportunity was during the Halloween 5K during Wine & Dine Half Marathon weekend last year. It featured a freshly dug grave and some ghoulish hosts from the Haunted Mansion! So much fun!!
