We have 3 boys, 2,4 and 6. We will be trying out the water parks for the 1st time this year. We are going to be at Disney for an entire week. Is it better to try the water parks during the week vs the weekend or does it matter? Thanks!

    Hi Shawn,

I have been to both water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. They are a lot of fun and my family always has a good time.

I have been during the week and the weekends and not really seen a difference in crowds. My family usually arrives at opening and then heads home around 3 because that is when the daily thunderstorm rolls in.

We generally do all the rides which have lines - single and double tube rides, family rides and body slides in the morning when the wait is the shortest. Then after lunch, we hit the lazy river, wave pools and any of our favorites.

I like Blizzard Beach for your aged children. Tike's Peak and Ski Patrol Training Camp are  great play areas, and I really like the family ride, Teamboat Springs, at this park. Plus the wave pool at Typhoon Lagoon is intense especially considering you can surf there in the morning!

    Have a magical vacation!
