    My boys are starting to get into Star Wars movies. Is it worth it to plan a trip to a Star Wars weekend? Thanks!

    Hey there Lori!  My boys are huge Star Wars fans and really enjoy attending Star Wars Weekends!  We actually just attended our third Star Wars Weekends and our entire family had a blast! From the moment you enter Disney's Hollywood Studios, you are greeted by Stormtroopers from atop the ticket turnstiles. The celebration begins there and you will then feel transported to a galaxy, far far away! There are different Star Wars celebrities featured on each weekend and famous Star Wars Characters like Darth Vader, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, and Jango Fett available for photos and autographs. There is also a huge merchandise location unique to Star Wars Weekends with themed merchandise, as well as, limited edition merchandise for sale. Our favorite Star Wars Weekends activities include: the Star Wars Celebrity Motorcade (parade) featuring Luke Skywalker, R2D2, Ewoks, Jedi Mickey and more; Star Wars Character Encounters; and Hyperspace Hoopla, a fun filled end of the day event. My fourteen-year-old daughter even went so far to say that Hyperspace Hoopla was her favorite part of our six night vacation!  Star Wars Weekends are traditionally offered the last two weekends of May and the first two weekends in June at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Many guests love this Special Event so much that they return year after year. If your boys are getting into the Star Wars movies, then I would definitely recommend planning a trip to one of the Star Wars Weekends in the future!  I hope this information helps!  Please let me know if you have any other specific questions regarding Star Wars Weekends that I can assist you with, Lori!
