Hello! have 2 boys 9 & 13 they love being outdoors doing things. The african wild trek - is it boring after awhile? 3 hours seems so long. Is the trails fun for kids to do or is it just walking? That or swim with dolphins?? Thanks!

    Hi Danelle!

I can absolutely say, without a doubt, that my kids were NEVER bored on the Wild Africa Trek. They were 12 and 14 when we went (and my son is a total computer nerd - so it wasn't right up his alley).

The trek is broken into a few different parts - suiting up in harnesses, seeing hippos up close and personal, going over rope bridges that span crocodiles, and then going on a ride through the savannah in a guide's vehicle. The time will fly. Towards the end, you'll have a rest stop complete with a small meal and time to take photos.

I really, really wouldn't hesitate at all to go on this again. My two kids are still asking when we they get to go again.

Of course, swimming with the dolphins is fun too - but I would pick the Wild Africa Trek personally.

Thanks again for asking me questions! If you have any other details I can help with, please, please don't hesitate!
