Hi Mackenzie! Welcome to planDisney and thank you for coming to us with your question!
I'm so excited for you and your boyfriend to visit the Happiest Place on Earth! It's a great time to visit as the
Disney100 Celebration is in full swing throughout the entire Resort and it's so beautifully decorated. You're going to love watching the new nighttime spectaculars together. For those of us who grew up watching Disney movies,
Wondrous Journeys is a very moving, emotional show that will bring a tear to your eye.
The
Special Southern California Resident Ticket offer is a great way for locals to visit the Parks. You get a three-day, one-park per day ticket that can be used on non-consecutive weekdays through May 25, 2023. It is only eligible for Southern California residents living within ZIP codes 90000-93599. I recently spoke to a Cast Member about the forms of ID that they would accept and I'm afraid that they were quite clear that Guests had to present a government issued photo ID that listed your Southern California address to be eligible.
I'm sorry if that wasn't quite the answer you were hoping for but I hope that you both are still able to visit the Disneyland Resort this year. As the
Disney Parks Blog reported, there will be several opportunities to purchase the lowest Tier ticket this year and there's so much going on! The
Food & Wine Festival is currently underway at Disney California Adventure and I've heard some wonderful reviews about the
foods being offered this year. I'd also highly encourage a ride on
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, the newest attraction at the Disneyland Resort. It's quickly become one of my favorite rides!
Mackenzie, I hope I was able to clear things up for you and that you and your boyfriend are able to make future plans to visit. If you have any further questions for us, please do not hesitate to contact anyone here at planDisney!
Have a Magical Day!
