My boyfriend and I will be traveling to WDW 11/20-29th. We were curious on what the crowds & weather are like. Is it necessary to make reservations for all sit down dinner meals during this time period? Any suggests on where to go for thanksgiving?

You should definitely be making reservations for meals. With the exception of the handful of dining experiences that require a credit card to hold a reservation, all the meal reservations at WDW can be canceled, even up until the last minute, with no penalty. It simply doesn't make sense not to make reservations. Additionally, the Wednesday through Sunday of Thanksgiving Week is one of the top most busy times at WDW. You will find the restaurants and parks packed.

I will also be at WDW for much of that week. I made most of my meal reservations about four months ago, and even then found that some of the dining experiences that I wanted were fully booked.

As for where to dine on Thanksgiving Day ... When I was researching dining for my trip, I learned that nearly every restaurant at WDW, from the value resort food courts to the signature dining venues, will have some special offerings on Thanksgiving Day. So you'll be able to get turkey wherever you choose to dine. If you go to the website wdwinfo.com and search for "thanksgiving", you'll find a link that shows the WDW Thanksgiving menus for 2007. This will give you a good idea of what you'll find this year. But your best bet for Thanksgiving dinner at this point might be to just get on the phone with Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE and ask them what they have available.

Good luck ... and be sure to stop and say "hi" if you see me in the parks.
